Prototype 17:

While searching on the internet we noticed that knee braces are shaped like a donut around the knee. So when we saw these donuts normally used for hairdots, we got the idea to use these.

Positive expected: force is distributed around the knee

Positive unexpected: 

Negative expected: a hard material if squeezed together

Negative unexpected: weird feeling from the materials , knee touches ground in the middle

Prototype 16

Prototype 16:
By combining again prototype 13 and prototype 15 we create an extra hardness to the sponge.

Prototype 15

Prototype 15:

This one is a filling made by sponges. It has three parts so that its a bit more flexible, because it's rather hard and would be difficult to use if the parts where pasted together.

Prototype 14

Prototype 14:

This one is the combination of prototypes 12 and 13, so it has it soft qualities for more comfort and a harder shell so that hard objects are difficult to feel through it.

This is a collection of 7 layers of plastic with ribs which are oriented in different directions.

prototype 12:

The next number of prototypes are the ones that concern the filling of the previous prototypes 9,10 and 11.

This filling is made from layering fabric ant stitching it down in a square pattern.

prototype 11:

In this prototype, the compression stockings were used in a different way. Here you need to put the envelop on just like you would do with a sock.
There is a whole made so that there is no irritation in the popliteal. This is stitched around so that there is no fluff coming loose from the sock.
